creativity has always been a part of who i am. ever since i was little, i’ve loved art and finding different ways to express myself. throughout high school, i started experimenting with eyeshadow, playing around with both neutral and colorful eyeshadow looks

around that same time, i was also going through my own struggles with acne. my journey throughout junior high and high school eventually led me to begin accutane, and it really changed the way i looked at skincare. i became much more interested in learning about the ingredients in the products i was using, what i was putting on my skin, and how different products could affect it. what started as a personal experience slowly grew into a genuine interest in skincare and understanding the science behind it.

for a while, i pictured myself going down the fashion design route and even considered attending FIT for college. i ended up focusing on business classes closer to home instead, but i always knew i wanted to do something that allowed me to be creative while building something of my own.

being the perfectionist am (as a virgo, of course), i’ve always paid close attention to the little details. looking back, i feel like all of these parts of me naturally led me to where i am now. deciding to attend NYIB and pursue esthetics was one of the best decisions i’ve made, and i genuinely couldn’t be happier with the girls i met and the instructor i had throughout my esthetician school journey.

as for the name LI House of Esthetics, there’s a little piece of my personality in that, too. music has always had a huge impact on my life, especially the weeknd, whose music has a way of making me feel confident and more connected to myself. i wanted my brand to reflect that side of me while bringing together my love for beauty, creativity, and this career path i’ve chosen. it’s a little piece of my world, and i’m so excited to share it with you.

now, i’m building something of my own, continuing to learn, and putting my heart into every step of this journey. my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, confident, and taken care of, while i get to do something i truly love.
